Frequently Asked Questions
New to healing arts or life coaching? Everyone starts somewhere. Here’s a quick guide to help you understand the language, tools, and magic behind my work.
Not at all. You just need to be curious and open to exploring new ways of understanding yourself. Everything we do is designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re a corporate leader, a creative, a skeptic, or a seeker.
I proudly work with everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual preference, religion, or cosmic origin. (Yes, aliens are welcome too.)
I collaborate with clients who are ready to wake up from autopilot; people seeking clarity, confidence, purpose, and authentic self-expression. Some come for deep healing, others for coaching, creativity, or both.
Yes, absolutely. Many clients find that blending modalities creates the most powerful results. We can mix modalities within a single session or across multiple sessions depending on what you need and prefer. Every 1-on-1 session is personalized to meet you where you are and support your whole self: mind, body, and spirit. If you’re not sure, simply schedule a complimentary consultation.
Life coaching is a supportive and collaborative process that helps you move from where you are to where you want to be. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on the past, coaching emphasizes the present and future, including your goals, mindset, and aligned actions.
In Matrix Method™, my life coaching approach blends practical strategy with intuitive insight. We work together to uncover limiting beliefs, build new habits, and create the reality you actually want to live in.
Somatic comes from the Greek word soma, meaning “the living body.” Somatic work is about tuning into your body’s sensations, emotions, and wisdom. Different from psychotherapy, it’s not just thinking or talking about what’s happening, but feeling and embodying it.
In my Somatic Studio™ healing sessions, we use breath, movement, imagery, and mindful awareness to release stored tension, emotions, or energy, so your body and mind can come back into harmony.
The healing arts are creative and intuitive practices that help you restore balance, clarity, and connection to yourself. This can include somatic work, energy healing, meditation, breathwork, tarot, sound, or art. Think of it as tending to your mind, body, and spirit through artistry and intuition, forging a creative path to wholeness.
Reiki (pronounced RAY-kee) is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the 1920’s. It works with your body’s natural life-force energy, which is the same energy that flows through everything in nature. The energy healing helps release blockages, calm the nervous system, and support your body’s own healing process. I also have studied other forms of energy healing outside of the traditional Reiki practice.
Overall, energy healing helps you feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded, even if you’re not sure how it “works.”
Tarot is an ancient intuitive tool that’s been used for hundreds of years, tracing back to the 15th century, when it began as a symbolic card game before evolving into a form of divination and self-reflection. A traditional tarot deck has 78 cards, each representing archetypal themes of the human experience: emotions, choices, challenges, and transformations.
In a reading, the cards reflect your energy and illuminate what’s unfolding in your life right now. They’re like a visual language for your intuition, helping you access deeper understanding and guidance from within.
Oracle cards, on the other hand, are more free-form, with each deck having its own number of cards and unique imagery or messages. Where tarot follows a specific structure, oracle cards are more fluid and intuitive, often offering affirmations, insights, or gentle reminders from your higher self.
Together, tarot and oracle cards serve as tools to help you reconnect with your truth, clarity, and power.
As we live in a quantum universe where anything is possible, any questions regarding the timing or timeline of something specific will be answered according to the truth and energy of the moment in which they are asked. Timing can rapidly change in our universe.
This is similar for Yes / No questions. It is best to ask more open-ended questions to allow Source energy and your Spirit Guides to provide more nuanced and layered guidance. If asked a Yes / No question, I'll do my best to answer it according to the truth and energy of the moment in which it is asked. Sometimes I do receive a very clear Yes / No answer, and sometimes I do not.
Therapy focuses on healing mental health conditions and processing the past. Coaching and somatic healing, on the other hand, focus on the now - helping you move forward, expand, and embody who you truly are.
While therapy can help you understand why something happened, our work helps you decide what’s next and supports you in living that truth fully. (Think: evolution, not diagnosis.)
Art therapy is a healing practice that uses creative expression, like painting, drawing, or sculpting, as a way to explore emotions, release stored energy, and connect with deeper layers of the self. Unlike traditional talk therapy, art therapy allows your body and subconscious to communicate through images, color, and form.
You don’t need any artistic experience to benefit from art therapy: it’s about the process, not the product. By creating art in a safe and supportive environment, you can access insight, healing, and transformation that words alone often can’t reach.
In my practice, called Art Alchemy™, I integrate somatic principles into the creative process; inviting the body’s sensations, breath, and movement to guide the brush, color choice, and expression. Through this embodied approach, art becomes a living conversation between your body, energy, and inner wisdom.
Every 1-on-1 session is tailored to you. We might talk, move, breathe, visualize, or even draw or paint, spending upon your interests and needs. The goal isn’t to “fix” you but rather to reconnect you with your own intuition and body’s wisdom.
You’ll leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more empowered, like you’ve come home to yourself.

What it is:
This is the fastest response time available. I find a lot of clients like to use regular text or voice text messages for super quick responses and to have truly ongoing conversations on a hot topic, urgent issue, or their homework. They find it allows them to get ongoing coaching throughout their week. Some may use it heavily one week due to an urgent issue, and then use it less the following week, and so on as their weeks progress.Logistics:
The programs we use can be iMessage (iPhone), WhatsApp or Voxer, which are all free to download. You're welcome to message me as much or as little as you like. My average response time is within 2 hours, and at most by the end of business day. It’s available Monday through Friday during business hours, however I sometimes respond in evenings and weekends depending upon my availability.
Perfect. That’s the best place to begin. We can start with a consultation to explore what you’re wanting, whether that’s coaching, healing, or creative work, and design a path that feels right for you.
